I had been in extreme pain for over five weeks with a pinched nerve at the base of my neck. The physical therapy clinic was recommended to me by a close friend and business colleague. He told me he had visited the clinic himself for treatment and had great results. I called and was given a prompt appointment to discuss my condition. Andy Roberts saw me and gave me a thorough examination after discussing at length what may have caused the problem. He then administered treatment and explained completely the process and a treatment plan. I have had three treatment appointments now and I am definitely on the mend. I found the clinic to be professional and honest in their assessment. It was made clear to me at the very start if the treatment did not improve my condition they would not hesitate in referring me for further investigations. I would recommend Andy Roberts and the physical therapy clinic without hesitation.

Mr Gregg Wooding

Me and my husband have been visiting The Physical Therapy Clinic for many years, with fantastic results. I have recently tried acupuncture with Kulwinder. I am so pleased with the results. I find the experience very relaxing and Kulwinder's food tips and knowledge, along with the acupuncture, put me on track for a better pain-free holiday. I went in with an open mind and am certainly feeling the benefits. Thank you.

I'm an avid runner and train regularly for marathons/half marathons, so when I developed hamstring tendonitis, it was a huge setback. Andy has been absolutely incredible throughout my recovery. From the very first session, he took the time to understand my training goals and tailored a treatment plan that not only addressed the injury but also helped me stay strong and confident in my running. Andy's approach is professional, supportive, and genuinely encouraging. He explained everything clearly, gave me practical exercises, and checked in on my progress every step of the way, working closely with my coach, Josh Schofield at PGC1. Thanks to his expertise and guidance, I've been able to manage my tendonitis effectively and get back to training without fear of re-injury. If you're a runner or athlete looking for someone who truly understands the demands of your sport and cares about your long-term success, I can't recommend Andy enough. He's made a difficult situation so much easier and has given me the confidence to keep chasing my marathon goals.

Thank you very much for the professional care and clear guidance on how to continue my exercises to restore my physical condition. The consultant was exceptionally kind, thorough, and attentive – she explained everything in detail, demonstrated the exercises, and made sure I was doing them correctly. I am very satisfied with my visit, and I will definitely return to this clinic for any future physical health needs.

I have used The Physical Therapy Clinic several times over many years. Each time they have tried to fit me in when it is urgent and the care and expertise they show and share with patients so it becomes an agreed treatment path has been excellent. I have serious back, shoulder and neck issues and osteoarthritis. I have had several lots of surgery. Each time I've waited in vain for NHS physio but then chosen to go to this clinic. I have recovered well and last time almost miraculously, with wonderful treatment by Nicky. She is amazing. Previously I've seen Stephanie who was equally good and I've had friends who've seen Andy with great reports.

I have been visiting this clinic for many years, the service and advice has always been exceptional. I decided to try the acupuncture with Kulwinder to help with my IBS and migraines. I have not had a migraine for a few months, this is the first time in more than 20 years that I have gone this long without suffering. The diet and nutritional advice, together with the acupuncture, have made a massive difference to my IBS flare-ups. I can highly recommend Kulwinder and the rest of the Physical Therapy team.

I have always been really impressed with the treatment I've received at the physical therapy clinic. All the staff including receptionist and physiotherapists are kind and helpful. Treatment and advice given by the knowledgeable physiotherapists has always been spot-on. Appointments run to time and I have never experienced any being cancelled. I have recommended their service to my friends and family.

Approximately 5 years ago I had fusion and decompression surgery at L4/5. May 2025 I started getting severe lower back pain and I was booked for more surgery. I also was suffering with muscle tightness in my upper back. At times the pain level was above 10. I saw a pain management consultant who suggested I tried having acupuncture. Straight after my first session of acupuncture I was amazed by the pain relief that I experienced. The relief was significant – the pain level had reduced from being over 10 to below 5. Over the last few months I have continued to have acupuncture and it is something I would recommend to anyone who is suffering with pain. The treatment can be adaptable from being intense to being more gentle. Just before Christmas I fell down the last 3 steps of the stairs and landed on my bottom. The pain was instant. Despite being prescribed a cocktail of medication to help with the pain I have still been in a lot of pain. I continued having acupuncture which gave some pain relief. 6 weeks after the fall I had an MRI scan and I found I had 3 fractures in my spine at L1 and T12/11. The healing process is slow however I have found through rest and acupuncture I have had some pain relief. I can honestly say that acupuncture can help with pain relief and I would recommend to anyone who has pain to try it. The fact that a pain management consultant advised that I tried having acupuncture would suggest pain can be managed through this treatment and it is not just me who has benefited from it.

This Clinic is outstanding. Having first been referred by my orthopaedic consultant almost two decades ago, Natalie and Andy have provided extremely professional, timely and effective care which has been transformational throughout, including following recent total knee replacement surgery. The team is also supported most ably by Claire and Sue for whom nothing is too much trouble in arranging convenient appointments. It is obvious why so many patients and their families are long term clients. Very highly recommended.

The Physical Therapy Clinic in Abington Avenue has provided my patients with a superb service. In particular, patients who have been treated for breast cancer have received rehabilitation and increase in their range of movement following mastectomy and radiotherapy. Stephanie Rodley has always provided an understanding and expert help for women who have recently undergone a traumatic event following diagnosis and treatment. The feedback that I receive from my patients is that the Physical Therapy Clinic is always friendly and efficient but most importantly offers a very high quality service of diagnosis and treatment. For me, knowing that my patients will receive this level of service is the main reason I am keen to continue to referring to Andy Roberts and Stephanie Rodley.
